How to setup Your Local Weather apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
Your Local Weather Details
This is a simple app that gets your location from the GPS on your device, extracts the city name and country, then queries the yahoo weather api with that location. Some of the graphics are from deviantart.com which I have credited within the aboot section. The layout switches on rotation, so that it scrolls in landscape.As per their attribution guidelines I have the Yahoo! logo with a link to their weather portal on the home screen.
It is compiled against Marshmallow (api 23) with a minimum requirement of Lollipop (api 21)
It is free of charge and advert free.
What's new in Your Local Weather 1.1
This is now Marshmallow (Android 6.0) only. It is still using the Yahoo! weather API despite Yahoo!'s threats to turn it off. The next version will use a different weather API.Download Your Local Weather 1.1 unlimited APK
